Creative Construction Conference 2020 goes virtual

Dear Colleagues,

 

We hope that this message finds you all in good health. We, the organizers of the Conference have been continuously monitoring the epidemic situation caused by the coronavirus. By now, the whole of Europe has become affected and the exact timing of recovery from this epidemic is unpredictable.

Having taken all the facts, circumstances, and likely consequences into consideration, we would like to inform you that CCC2020 will NOT be physically held in Opatija, Croatia from 28 June to 1 July 2020, but rather on a digital platform. Therefore, we kindly ask you to cancel your travel plans in connection with CCC2020.

The CCC 2021, hopefully in our traditional style, will be held during 27-30 June 2021 at the same conference venue, Amadria Park, Conference Park 7/25, in Opatija, Croatia. The organizers have already reserved the conference premises and hotel accommodations for next year’s event.

Despite the uncertainties, CCC2020 will be held, however, on a virtual platform.

We know that personal contact is extremely important for all of you. However, the publications and the lectures are very important and valuable, too. We will still publish the Proceedings and the special issues, so we encourage you to submit your paper via the website within the given deadline. In addition, oral presenters can upload their ppt presentations and videos, which we will make available for all registered participants.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you virtually this year and in person next year.
